Otis, a hunter who shot Carl, leads Rick and Shane to a large, isolated farm owned by a veterinarian named Hershel Greene. The remaining group deals with interpersonal relationships while various searches for Sophia are performed. Carl is accidentally shot during a search for the missing girl. Carol's daughter, Sophia, chased away from the highway by two of the remaining walkers, runs off into the woods. The group loots several vehicles and as a large horde of walkers approaches, is forced to hide under the vehicles. Along the way, they encounter a traffic jam of abandoned vehicles on I-85. At this point they encounter Alex and Jake from Fear thalking Dead: Flight 462. Its wreckage is found by the group while they are scavenging for supplies on land. This is how the new characters ends up in Season 2, with the plane ditching at sea. Michelle returned in the episode " Captive".įlight 462 was on its way to Phoenix from LAX ( Los Angelos International Airport), but due to power failures at Phoenix it gets diverted. Brenden Meyer AND Michelle Ang, who play Jake Powell and Charlie on Flight 462, joined the cast in episode 3 of Season 2 over on IMDB. We've known for a while that a character from Flight 462 will be joining the cast of Fear for Season 2.
